Louise’s teaching career has been based in Suffolk, England, for the last twenty years. She has held the positions of Assistant Headteacher, Designated Safeguarding Lead, Ipswich Opportunities Lead, Lower Junior Phase Leader, Year Leader, ICT Lead, Design and Technology Lead, Residential Trip Leader and School Council Lead. She has completed the National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership (NPQSL), The Active Learning Trust Leading Active Middle Leadership Qualification and the CUREE Mentoring and Coaching training.
In addition, she was asked to complete the CUREE Mentor and Coaching Train the Trainer programme. She has a BA Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies. She has taught every year group from the Nursery to Year Six, which has given her a good understanding of the high expectations of achievement expected from Early Years up to Year Six.
Louise enjoys continuing her professional development in China and embracing the new challenges and opportunities that this presents. She was excited to become part of the Hiba & Wellington College family.
