Adam, is a passionate educator, focused on creating an environment which fosters creativity and innovation to unlock a child’s cultural capital. Adam, has a Bachelor of Science degree, in Sports and Exercise Science from Coventry University. He started his teaching journey at an Academy in 2013 as a teaching assistant supporting in lessons. This is where he found his passion working in an education environment to shape future minds. Adam undertook a role as the Physical Education Lead and Sports Coordinator at another Primary Academy in 2014, located in a challenging area of Coventry. He helped in development of CPD pathways to up skill colleagues’ knowledge around PE. In addition, he created an enrichment programme that promoted sports and competition across school and the local community with increased parent engagement within school.
Adam, moved to a broad-spectrum school in 2018, as a specialist SEND PE Teacher progressing to the Head of the Physical Education department in the last two years. Along with the headteacher he facilitated the redesign of the PE curriculum to be inclusive, individualised and tailor-made to capture imagination and passion for learning. He has worked and volunteered as a sports coach for a variety of sports projects in his city of Coventry. Adhering to giving children and adults opportunities to stay active and be upstanding members of society through life skills, sports, mental health and wellbeing workshops. He approaches his work with the sole focus on cultivation of a child’s potential and welfare. Promoting a child centred approach to education that will bear fruit to confident, resilient, respectful young minds with keen interest in developing local and global initiatives.
In his spare time Adam, is a keen sports fanatic and enjoys playing basketball, football and tennis. He also enjoys reading and hiking and recently took up photography.
