Mildred grew up and was educated in Surrey in the UK. After her return from working in China as an English instructor for seven years and volunteering at a local primary school in the UK, she decided to become a teacher. She undertook a PGCE in primary education at the University of Kingston.
Mildred's passion is the development and education of young children. However, she has a range of experience across the primary age groups. During her career, Mildred has also taught in various settings. Mildred has a passion for school improvement and strongly believes in making sure every child reaches their true potential.
Mildred is enthusiastic about child-centred education and the importance of meaningful education for children in a holistic approach. She is highly passionate about Special Educational Needs. She is accompanied by her husband and two children, one of which is attending Wellington College International Hangzhou. In her spare time, Mildred enjoys reading, cooking, family-time, trying out different cuisines and wine tasting.
