Min Xiong has a master’s degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s d from Changsha University. She has dedicated herself to becoming a life-long educator and learner, and strives to instill a similar ideal in all of the students with whom she works. After seven years of teaching in the United States, Min Xiong decides to join a positive force bringing changes to education in China.
She is excited about the bilingual programme at Hiba Academy Hangzhou, because it is such a great match with her past teaching experience. She not only has experience teaching Chinese Language Arts in elementary and middle school, but has also taught math and science in 5th grade for several years. As a member of the Summer Curriculum Committee at her previous school, Min Xiong helped develop curricula for K-9 Chinese Language Arts, K-5 Math and Science. She is pleased to bring what she has learned and practiced in the USA to Hiba and contribute to bilingual education in China.
In her spare time, she loves reading, baking, jogging and spending time with her family.
