Gia holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Southampton and has five years of teaching experience in primary Chinese education.
Before joining Wellington College Hangzhou, Gia served as the Head of the Primary Chinese Department at a school in Hainan, where she led her team in designing engaging teaching plans and organising cultural activities. Her innovative teaching methods and ability to tailor lessons to pupils’ needs helped inspire a love for the Chinese language and culture among her pupils. Gia is dedicated to cultivating good learning habits in young pupils through her fun, interactive and highly engaging teaching style. Known for her warmth and approachability, she focuses on developing pupils’ Chinese literacy and fostering a deep appreciation for Chinese culture while helping them grow into well-rounded individuals with a global perspective. With a strong understanding of primary education systems, Gia is passionate about creating a dynamic learning environment.
She looks forward to contributing her expertise to Wellington College Hangzhou and collaborating with colleagues to support pupil development.
