James has been dedicated to private, state and inner city education in performing arts for over 20 years. Before this James was a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and Dalhousie University and worked in the entertainment industry for the BBC, ATV, CBC and Channel 4, has had his own radio program on CKDU 97.5fm. James was mentored by Alan Rickman and has trained with the National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company as well as working with Steven Berkoff and Richard Ryan.
During his spare time James is an avid model maker, games designer, painter, an amateur astronomer, a passionate rockhound and an historical re-enactor.
