The AMC is one of the world's largest and most widely participated in international mathematics competitions.

Organised by the Australian Maths Trust (AMT), the competition has grown since its establishment in 1978 to involve more than 30 countries and hundreds of thousands of participants each year. The AMC places strong emphasis on mathematical thinking, logical reasoning and creativity. Rather than relying on rote memorisation, it assesses pupils' ability to apply knowledge flexibly and to analyse problems from multiple perspectives. For this reason, it is often regarded as one of the most authentic measures of a pupil's true mathematical capability.

In this year's competition, pupils at Hiba Academy Hangzhou demonstrated solid mathematical foundations and exceptional problem-solving abilities. They remained calm and confident throughout the entirely English-medium assessment and achieved results that are both impressive and encouraging. Their success reflects not only their perseverance and curiosity in everyday learning but also our school's commitment to fostering exploration and developing critical thinking through mathematics education.
