Last week, Wellington College Hangzhou held its annual Celebration Assembly for the 2024-2025 academic year. Teachers and pupils gathered to witness the growth and honours achieved by the pupils over the past year. During the assembly, those who had demonstrated outstanding performance in different fields over the past year were recognised, encouraging them to continue steadfastly pursuing their dreams.
On the day of the Celebration Assembly, the Grand Theatre was filled with an exhilarating atmosphere. Awards were presented in various categories, including the Most Improved Award, Academic Achievement Award, Performing Arts Award, Boarding House Award, Best Athlete Award, School Value Award and Charity Award. The winning pupils went up on the stage to receive their awards one by one, and the audience frequently erupted in applause and cheers.
From autumn through summer, guided by the five core values of Kindness, Responsibility, Respect, Courage, and Integrity, our pupils continually challenged themselves and pursued excellence. On their academic journey, they diligently explored their subjects, overcame challenges one by one, and achieved outstanding results. On the stage of performing arts, they poured their energy into captivating movements and beautiful voices, showcasing their talents. On the sports field, they competed with passion and determination, shedding sweat for the honour of their teams. Step by step, they turned their dreams into reality, embodying the spirit of hard work and perseverance through their actions.
The Celebration Assembly not only celebrates the pupils' achievements but also marks a significant milestone in their journey of growth.
