Pastoral care is central to the vision and ethos of Hiba Academy Hangzhou; it affects and influences every aspect of the educational journey a pupil experiences whilst at the School. Pastoral provision serves as the nurturing and developmental experience of the pupils in our care. Each child is unique, with individual needs, potential, limitations and opportunities. Our pastoral systems focus on the child as an individual, in order to maximise the development of their potential.
Boarding is a tradition at Wellington College in the UK, an extension of its educational philosophy and an integral part of nurturing pupils.
A Wellington education extends far beyond the classroom walls. Our pupils are encouraged to discover their interests and pursue them with passion. We provide them with ample opportunities to do so through our comprehensive co-curricular activities (CCAs), the Wellington Academy Programme, academic and athletic competitions, off-campus excursions and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
Our services include catering, school bus transportation, air quality monitoring, and more.
